This huge ring has a great aesthetic and shape. Various semiprecious stones such as turquoise, mother of pearl, onyx, and pipestone have been inlaid by hand into sterling. There is a large feather design which sweeps the bottom. This ring is Native American made and signed. It dates from the late 60s-1970s when Navajo and southwestern jewelry in general became very large scale. I love the burnt browns and earth tones in this marvelous and unique piece. Length measures 2 1/8″ x 1″ wide. It fits a size 6.25 but could be easily stretch at a jewelers to a 7 or 7.5″ Weight is 28 grams. This signature is hard to read and is etched on. In these older rings it could be the name of a former owner indicating a little bit of an earlier date or the maker. I love large southwestern and Navajo jewelry on and this ring is no exception.
