Fantastic 1920s-30s carved clear celluloid or lucite acrylic snake cuffs. Lucite was invented in 1931 by the Dupont company and these could be early lucite. They feature carved heads, polka dots and wavy lines. Crisp and clear with minimal to no scratching or fuzzy appearance. Excellent examples of Egyptian revival serpents. These coiled snakes are a rare pair from an estate. 7″ circumference on each and about a 2.5″ diameter. Width of the largest coiled snake is 1″, the other measures around .65″ wide.DSC_0362 DSC_0358 snakes
