Fine quality forbidden stitch embroidered silk three-toed dragon on blue woven ground, pierced and repousse silver chrysanthemum closure and detailing on ivory button or bone button, attached by chain, moss green file interior with  catch, mirrored parts. About  3.75” wide x 6.10″ in length. The large silver clasp is called a “kanemono”. The dragon is so well done and the fabric is in great condition. Dates to the late 1800s, around 1890. Could be used as an evening bag.  No international shipping on this item in case it is ivory.  It does predate 100 years old.
